Czech DPA fines Avast €14M over GDPR violations

💸 The Czech Republic's data protection authority has fined antivirus software vendor Avast 351 million Czech koruna (EUR 14 million) for alleged violations of the GDPR, a record fine for this country according to the GDPR Enforcement Tracker.

CNIL saw 35% more privacy complaints in 2023
